My story

Updated bio 3-30-16 This cutie is Foxy Lady. She is a 5 years old Chorkie (Chihuahua/Yorkie mix). Foxy weighs 8 pounds. Foxy is being fostered in Lighthouse Point, FL.

Foxy Lady's adoption fee is $300 and includes all vetting (neuter, dental cleaning, immunizations, microchip and chip registration). A Vet reference, personal references, and home visit are required for adoption. You may apply to adopt Foxy by going to our website at www.unitedyorkierescue.org and completing the adoption application located on our home page.

Foxy arrived at her foster home last week and has already made friends with her foster siblings. She is so happy to have a backyard to run around. She loves chasing squirrels and playing with her toys. Foxy is an energetic little girl and needs a safe place in which to run off her energy. She is a little leery of strangers on the first contact, but as soon as she realizes that she will not be hurt she will give you kisses and will wag her tail to show how happy she is. She is really well behaved and well-mannered puppy.

Foxy saw her vet and got the best news. The vet said Foxy is 100% healthy She is up to date on her vaccinations and is already spayed. She is not totally house trained, but if taken out enough she will not have accidents in the house. She walks nicely on the leash and rides really well in the car.

Foxy is a good sleeper. She wants to be on the bed under the covers with her people. She is a sweetheart and the only thing she wants is love. Foxy would be okay in a family with children over the age of 12. If you are looking for a companion and a loving friend this sweet baby will fit perfectly in your family.
