My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jackson was an owner surrender at Maricopa West shelter and was noted to be turned in because he bit his owner. We had Jackson evaluated and did not find any signs of aggression. He is brand new to rescue and will undergo further testing as well as a bath and vetting. He is in a foster home with other dogs and cats and doing very well. We would also love to find a family that has owned ESS's before. They are a sporting breed and have lots of energy. This is very true of Jackson, he wants to please his owner and play and work and someone that can give him that life would be best. He still acts like a puppy and he is very young still at the age of 4. Jackson is very healthy and doesn't have any health issues and he is also neutered. Jackson also loves to swim and would love to have a pool of possible. He would be a great dog for someone that has lots of property or a home up north that he can hunt and go camping and fishing!
