My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Grayson is a 5 mo. old male Italian Greyhound; his coat is gray with white on his chest and toes. This little guy weighs about 9 1bs. He is extremely playful, quite the little pistol, and is going to need an owner with plenty of time to devote to his puppy-energy & neediness for attention, guidance and housetraining. We are working on his housetraining; since a puppy one needs to watch him every minute to prevent a potty accident., but he is doing fairly well using the pee pads in our designated 'dog room.' When in his crate, he will use a pee pad in the back of his crate most of the time (his crate set-up is large, with a bed area in front, pee pad in back). He has been fairly accepting of being in his crate, the short periods I have tested him so far, but he is used to having company all day long, including our other dogs. He loves to play with the other dogs and an ideal home for him would include another small dog companion, as well as a fenced yard to run in. He does ok on a leash- still getting used to that. Loves to cuddle & snuggle, lay on you!, be on the furniture & bed- as IGs do. Grayson is being fostered in Omaha, local adoptions preferred. IG experience preferred also. Gentle children over 10 ok. Please research this breed's characteristics before considering them, they are challenging to housetrain (esp. with cold weather now) and you need a sense of humor in this area!October 23, 2024, 12:07 am
