My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bailey is 6.5 years old and was with her owners since she was a puppy. However since her owners could not handle a new child another dog and an IG, Bailey was given to the rescue. She is very loving and makes a great lap dog. Her bathroom habits are good but she does need to be let outside or she will go in the house. She is sable with white markings, and a most loving and obdient dog. She loves to play with our two; but was very confused and sad at first, so she needed some extra loving and lap sitting. We have the AKC Pedigree, but can't find where she was registered. She has a chip, and her previous owners sent lots of info on her. Her foster home would love to adopt her if they had the room to keep her. Her previous owner could not get her to sleep in a kennel, but both ours do, so she did also, with her blanket and it was no problem. She was dry every morning. This is a GREAT dog. Bailey is being fostered in Omaha and we prefer to adopt locally. Here are a few extra comments from her foster home... She has no medical needs; she has had to have a couple of teeth pulled. I can honestly say this is the best cared for IG I have ever seen come to rescue. We have lots of info about her; her former owner wrote out much info about her for us. I love her to death and she is totally attached to Kevin. She is mostly a couch potato; I don't think she has had much chance to learn how to play, but my girls are teaching her. She is as housebroken as I have ever seen an IG. She is a wonderful dog, and I would not let anyone take her that was not an ultimate home for her.October 23, 2024, 12:07 am
