Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Independent, playful, athletic. Meet Sarge. Big, soft triangular ears sweetly frame his handsome face. A very attractive dog, this Australian Shepherd and Siberian Husky mix has big, calm brown eyes, a dark brown nose and beautiful markings on his face. His fur is a shiny cinder brown with cream accents on his face, chest and paws. His approximate date of birth is November, 2010, and he weighs about 65 lbs. A volunteer says: "Sarge LOVES playing fetch. He has lots of happy energy. He tolerates being brushed just fine. Sarge is a beautiful dog." Sarge enjoys playing with dogs his own size, but no small dogs please. He is also not a fan of cats. Sarge is a smart boy. He knows what "sit;", & "stay", & "lay down" , & "leave it", & "no", & "go to your room" (kennel), and & "lets go outside" means. Sarge is crate trained. Sarge can be a little timid at first but warms up quickly and loves giving kisses. He gets along great with kids. His ideal family is one that can provide him with lots of daily exercise to keep his natural working/herding nature in check. He loves walks, and likes other dogs. He loves to swim and play fetch. Per a volunteer: He takes a little while to become comfortable with someone but I visit him at the kennel every weekend and he has become very loyal to me. He finds me at the dog park and gets super excited every time he sees me when I pick him up. He also does well with children. Sarge lives in Houston, Texas, but is available for transport to other cities via United Petsafe for $475 total including adoption fee, airline fee, health certificate, neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and airline crate. ****If you are interested in adopting Sarge, please submit an adoption application at www.corridorrescue.org under More Information.**** Thank you!!
