Hello my name is Copper! I am a 1.5 year old male Husky/Akita/Shepherd type cross. I am a 76lb active boy And I am looking for my forever home!
My foster mom thinks I would be an amazing acreage/farm dog as I LOVE the outdoors! Although a good long walk/run everyday would be good too! I am definately not afraid of the snow and love to roll around and be playful and friendly with my furry foster sisters, and would love to have a playmate!
Although I love being active and outside when possible , I still am a loving boy that likes to snuggle in on the couch at the end of the day and be spoiled. I have a human foster brother that I am very gentle with and get very excited to see, my favorite part of the day is being loved and spending time with my foster family!
I am crate trained ( I wasn't impressed at first but I like to please so I have obliged, and do it now!) and am house trained. I rarely bark unless I am wanting something. I know how to sit and am starting to work on a few more tricks as long as there are yummy rewards involved! I am learning to walk on a leash and am trying to be obedient although its hard when your walker is slow and you would rather run but I am a good boy and am trying to slow down!
My foster mom says not only am I an extremely handsome guy I am very smart too, I love to please and want a family to continue to teach me and help me grow.
