My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello my name is Tessie. I'm 7 years old and i weigh about 4 1/2 pounds. I am an owner surrender. I lived most of my life in a puppy mill until my previous owners got me out last december. My new home will have to be someone very special because i do have a few needs. First off i am blind in one eye. I have what is called dry eye and i require drops two times a day. Second, i have to sleep in the same room as you do otherwise i get lonely. Third, i need someone who will love and love on me! I really like to be in your lap at all times, if you lean down i'll even give you kisses. I've already won my foster mom's heart! i am not housebroke so we will have to work on that! I'm going to get my teeth cleaned on 7-28-08 and then i will be ready for my forever home.

We do not adopt out of state unless we have a volunteer in the area that can do a home visit. New owner must be willing to travel to foster home to meet the dog.
