My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**FOSTER LOCATION: Idaho Falls, ID** Tucker is, quite possibly, one of the most mellow 2 year olds I have ever met. He's been here for 3 days and I have yet to hear him bark. He knows come, down, sit, and kind of stay. He knows when I say 'stay' he's not supposed to follow me, but doesn't quite get the sit/stay combo. He's fully house trained, not sure about kennel as i don't keep him in one (he doesn't need it.) He does like to jump on people and furniture so we are working on that, but he has never once jumped up on any of the kids. He loves to play and will do pretty much anything for a ball, way more ball oriented than treat. He's a little bit shifty when playing with Hugo (my Saint) which is hilarious. If Hugo looks away from whatever he is chewing on even for a second, Tucker runs in and makes off with it before Hugo even figures out what happened. He holds his own during play time with a dog that outweighs him by 100 pounds by knocking Hugo's legs out from underneath him (also hilarious!) During outside time he doesn't dig, bark, whine or jump on the fence. He loves water and just lays in the little pool we have out back. He has never shown any aggression to other dogs, cats or people, he does rummage for dropped food, but doesn't beg, snatch or jump on the counters. He is AMAZING with the kids and will just chase them around as long as they can go.He's ok on a leash, we will keep working on that. He loves hugs and sitting on feet. He is, honestly, an excellent dog and I can't quite figure out why someone wouldn't want him. He's pretty skinny so we are going to put a little weight on him then he will be perfect!! Tucker's adoption fee is $150 and that includes his neuter, vaccinations, and vet check!October 14, 2024, 12:23 am
