Dino is approximately 1.5 years old. He is a Bulldog and Boxer mix. Dino has been neutered and is up to date on all vaccinations. This sweet lovable boy is looking for a home with a person or family who is experienced with the breed and can help Dino work on his basic obedience training. We are seeking an active person or family who have a home with a fenced yard where Dino can play safely. Although Dino, is a sweet-natured boy, he can be a handful because he acts like a big puppy and requires someone who will be willing to work with him and provide structured routine and a training plan as set out by our behaviourist.
Dino is good with most other dogs but MUST be given a proper introduction. He does have issues with certain dogs and would have to be tested prior to being placed. Dino would also do well in a home as an only dog. Dino requires a home with no cats as he tends to chase them. We are also looking for a home without any children. It is imperative that Dino’s adopter will continue to provide a structured routine and keep up with his obedience training in order for Dino to thrive.
Because Dino is currently being kenneled, we would also consider a foster home application for him. This involves all of the above criteria, however Benevolent Bully Rescue would cover all of the food and veterinary costs for the duration of the foster period. The foster family must be prepared to foster for a minimum amount of 6-8 weeks, after which time Dino would be listed as adoptable while he is their foster care.
