My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Play, play, play and play more. Harvest may have an adult size body, but this girl is as playful as a young kitten. Harvest tests positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV+) . She is not currently on any medication, is healthy and will be fine living with FIV- cats since the virus is only spread via deep bite wounds, and Harvest is a lover, not a fighter. She has no other health issues and can live a long and healthy life.

Harvest was rescued as a stray last fall after a run-in with what we suspect was farm machinery. She had awful injuries to her right side and has spent almost four months at the veterinary clinic being treated and healing from her wounds.

Harvest was also being treated for an upper respiratory infection (URI) with antibiotics, but after several rounds and types of antibiotics the clinic determined it wasn't URI at all, but a small polyp deep inside her nasal cavity that was causing inflammation and congestion. Harvest had surgery to remove the polyp in mid-February and now she breathes just fine.

Harvest is a very loving girl. She's a black and white beauty, with gorgeous green eyes and very big feet ;o) Harvest loves other cats, and is a very active and affectionate girl.

She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
