My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! my name is Awesome Antonio and I am looking for a loving, forever home. I was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico when a wonderful volunteer found me beside my dog friend who had been hit and killed by a car. I was scared and alone. She took me off the streets and cared for me until I was fully vetted and ready to leave Puerto Rico. I am being fostered in Floral Park, NY. My foster family thinks I am the sweetest, most loving, friendly dog that you could ever met. My tail is always wagging and I live with other dogs that I am great with. I am also happy to be with the family's cats and teenage children. When I am done playing with the other dogs in the backyard I love to snuggle on the couch with my foster mom and dad.

I am 1.5 years old and 28 lbs. My foster family is feeding me well because they said I need to gain a few pounds. I also walk well on a leash.
