My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I'm Amelia. I am a 5 month old Shepherd, Lab, Pit, Retriever mix. They aren't absolutely sure of my breed other than I am too cute for words. I weigh about 25 pounds now and should grow to about 35/40. No I won't be a big girl and that is ok with me. I had a family but they threw me outside and left me to just run around and fend for myself. One day I was hit by car and well my owner instead of taking me to the vet threw me in the backyard on a chain and that was my new life. Chained with a broken hip. about a week later I didn't see my owner any more and I was so confused, starving and lonely. I finally realized they had moved away and just left me there with no help. The neighbors noticed me and cared for me until they found my rescue. Now I am in a foster home looking for a new and better family. I got to go the vet and get my hip checked. The vet told me I had done a great job of taking care of myself because my hip had started to heal and it was healing back just like it should. I am good to go no issues here or in the future. They also gave me all of my vaccines, I am spay and I have a micro chip. I love other dogs, cats and children. While I do love to play, I know when it is time to chill out and snuggle.
