Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
While most of us bundled up against the cold and snow, our guy Max was having a blast!
He LOVES the snow as you can clearly see in the third picture :)
The only thing better than snow (and perhaps a swim in the summertime) in Max's book is people. He is totally people oriented. His foster family tells us that when they have visitors, Max is SO happy to meet everyone!
When they're alone with him, he is happy just to be close to them.
Max is a pure bred golden retriever, about 8 years old. He is a well trained dog who knows his commands and is great with children.
As much as Max loves people though, he is not a fan of other animals. He is a dog who requires a home where he is an only pet. He dislikes other dogs, and he is, apparently, a bit to interested in cats.
At 8 years old, Max SO deserves a wonderful family with whom he can relax and enjoy his retirement years. He is an absolutely wonderful dog who will make an awesome family member.
He just wants to love and be loved!
