Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sasha has been in our rescue the longest of any of our currently adoptable dogs - and we don't have a clue why - because she is awesome!
She was one of four dogs we saved last winter from an empty apartment in Waterbury. She was living in an apartment that had been vacated by her family after the pipes burst. There was no heat, no water, and no electricity.
At about four years old, Sasha had a large mass on one of her hind legs that needed surgery, so she was on medical hold for quite a while. The surgery was done and - thankfully! - the biopsy came back benign! NOT cancer!
She stayed with our rescue President until the surgery was completed and she had begun to heal from it. She was fully vetted and spayed, and then moved to her foster family. There she continued to relax and to learn that she was safe, and would not be abandoned again.
Sasha is fine with children 10 years old or older. The fast movements and noise level of very small children make her nervous. She is a truly good girl who has learned all of her basic commands - and even some tricks! Her favorite game is fetch with her beloved kong - and she has even mastered the art of bringing it back! She loves walks and makes a terrific jogging partner.
Sasha needs to be an only pet. She is fearful of other dogs and is not good with cats.
She is a pit bull mix, approximately 5 years old now, with the most gorgeous brindle coat.
Sasha is a love bug. She will make an absolutely wonderful family pet.
