Here's what the humans have to say about me:
6/4/16 - IVE BEEN ADOPTED!
Adoption Fee: $250
Fostered in Alabama
Age: 7.5 years
Weight: 6 lbs.
2/27/16 - Tyler is a great little boy. He is friendly to people and LOVES to play ball. He will play ball until foster mom tells him "no more" and then he takes his ball and takes a nap with it in his bed. When foster mom bought him his own ball, he took it from her when it came out of the box and did not let it leave his sight; he slept with the ball next to him the first night he got it.
His coat is very sparse because he was not well taken care of in his last home, and he needs to gain some weight. Good food will help his coat fill in. Tyler always like to eat; when treats are given out he makes sure that he gets one.
He is afraid of hands and doesn't understand that being petted is a good thing, although foster mom can pick him up easily. He does not like loud noises. It appears that Tyler was hit with hands and objects which is why he stays away from them.
Tyler sleeps in the bed next to foster mom. He uses the stairs at the end of the bed to get on and off of the bed; foster mom showed him one time how to use the stairs and within ten minutes he used them to get off of the bed. He is very smart and learns quickly.
He will use puppy pads or go outside in the yard; when Tyler is in the yard and foster mom calls him back in to the house, he comes when he is called. He is learning to walk on a leash and has the sweetest personality. When the other dogs bark, Tyler will too, but he is not a "barky" dog.
Tyler needs love and understanding while he learns that people can be nice and loving to him. He is just such an easygoing dog. He will be happy as the only dog in the house. He would be okay with other small dogs in the house, so long as they do not expect him to play with them. He will need interaction with his people to continue his training and a chance to be spoiled every day to live happily ever after.
