Mindy is a 12 pound, 5-6 year old, spayed Yorkshire Terrier/Maltese mix. She is sweet, gets along very well with others, and has excellent house manners. She barks to go out and then barks again to let you know she is returning.
This pretty girl is friendly and easy going. She likes to ride in the car and walks well on a leash. Mindy has just had a rough couple of weeks. She was surrendered to a shelter with a tumor
on her chest, being eaten alive with fleas. She had an eye infection and severe skin infections. We got her immediate medical treatment, then scheduled her surgery for tumor removal. Even though surgery went well, her surgical site became infected because her antibiotic was apparently not strong enough to keep all the bacteria at bay. She was rushed back in and had to endure yet another procedure to clean out the site and insert drainage tubes. She has been an angel through it all; however, she can't wait to get out of that awful e-collar as it cramps her style. Mindy is recovering nicely and will be ready for adoption soon.
