Cookie was found in a field, tangled up in briars. He was taken to a foster home where he got a haircut, so he can see again. He was so matted. He is estimated to be 9 or 10 years old.
In the beginning, he didn't respond well to people. He was very timid and scared; extremely stiff when we picked him up, like he thought we were going to hurt him.
Cookie now plays with my two Maltese like he has been here forever. He loves to play with toys. He can go down a short set of steps, but can go up two flights on my deck. He goes outside with the other dogs, but is afraid without my husband or myself.
He likes my husband, but adores me. Cookie will do best in a home with another well socialized dog to show him the ropes and to play with him.
He travels well. He has taken two six hour trips with us. He is such a sweet heart and will make someone a wonderful pet.
Cookie has been neutered and had all his vaccinations. This valiant little guy is being fostered in Louisville, KY. He is waiting for his forever family to find him.
