I love to be outside in our yard, where I find different things to sniff. I like to see what's going on around me. If I see something interesting, I hold my head up and prance smartly across the yard. My foster mom says I must have been a TN walking horse in a previous life!
I'm a smart boy. I've learned to use the doggy door. I am very cute too, with my big brown eyes.
I also walk on a leash and I never have accidents in the house.
When I'm inside, I have a favorite pillow I lay on. I follow my foster mom all around the house. Wherever she goes, 'Im there!
I'm not really a lap dog, I just enjoy being with you and will lay as close to your feet as I can. Sometimes, I will lay on the sofa with you for awhile. If you put a doggie bed next to where you sit, I will curl up in my bed.
When I'm resting, you can rub my tummy, that's ok with me, and when you get up again, I jump up so fast, I'm on all four paws before your feet hit the ground. I'm a quick mover!
I'm very althletic and if you like to walk I will stay right beside you.
I'm a very alert watchdog, nothing goes on without my noticing it, so my foster mom taught me Hush and says I obey very well. I also come when I'm called and, oh my, I'll do anything if you'll give me a treat! I sit up and do this begging motion with my front paws. My foster mom thinks I'm quite a character.
It takes me awhile to get used to dogs I don't know, but now I am buddies with my foster brothers. We have such fun together, chasing each other and pulling on tug ropes.
I am learning to share my toys with them better too.
I really need a family of my own though. I'm waiting for you in Chattanooga, TN.
