Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Updated bio 3-14-16 Zoe is a 4-year-old, 9 lb. Biewer Yorkie girl. She is being fostered in Dunedin, FL. Zoe's adoption fee is $425 and includes all vetting (neuter, dental cleaning, immunizations, microchip and chip registration). A Vet reference, personal references, and home visit are required for adoption. You may apply to adopt Zoe by going to our website at www.unitedyorkierescue.org and completing the adoption application located on our home page.
Zoe is a very friendly little pup whenever she meets new people. She loves to go for walks on her leash, but she will bark at other dogs she meets along the way. She loves, loves, loves to play fetch. She rarely goes anywhere without having a ball right by her. She wants you to throw it for her to get anytime of the day. It is her most favorite thing to do.
Zoe had never been around other dogs before she came to her foster home, therefore hasn’t really bonded with her foster siblings. She’s a little protective of her food bowl. This is not surprising due the fact she never made friends with any other dogs before.
Zoe doesn’t like cats at all, so if you have a cat, she wouldn’t be a good fit for your home. Also, if you’re looking for a companion for your current dog, she may not be the best fit for your home. She is not a fan of other dogs and is not all that friendly to them. She is very devoted to her person and wants to be their number one and only pup.
Zoe is a cute little dog with very pretty coloring. She sleeps well in her crate at night, although she loves to sleep in bed with her humans even more if they let her. She’s not much of a lap dog, but she does love to share a couch with you. She enjoys being petted. However she would rather play ball than anything else.
Zoe is protective of her humans and her home, and will bark when she hears something unusual. She’s not barking as much now that she knows what sounds are “normal,” but Zoe is somewhat of a barker so apartment or condo living is not for her. Her best forever home would be a house with a fenced backyard. That would be heaven for her. Then she can run after the ball your have thrown for her over and over.
Zoe just had her dental done, and had only one tooth removed. Other than that, she is in good health. The really good news is that she appears to be housetrained! She will let you know that when she’s at the door, she needs to go out. Zoe would be a great companion for anyone looking for a sweet girl to love. She would be okay with kids over the age of 14 who might like to play fetch with her, but she wouldn’t be good with younger kids. If you have the love and home to give Zoe, please fill out an adoption application for her. She would be a wonderful friend for anyone looking for their only buddy and pup to lavish their love upon.
Initial Bio 2-21-16 Zoe is a very cute, little 8 pound Yorkie girl. She is 5 years old. Zoe is being fostered in Dunedin, FL. Her adoption fee is $425 and includes all vetting (neuter, dental cleaning, immunizations, microchip and chip registration). A Vet reference, personal references and home visit are required for adoption. You may apply to adopt Zoe by going to our website at www.unitedyorkierescue.org and completing the adoption application located on our home page.
Zoe was sadly surrendered by her family when they realized that little dogs and little children are not a good mix. They knew that for Zoe's safely she needed to be in a home where it was understood that, though she is a very playful, sweet pup she needed to be with adults and maybe older children.
Zoe loves to cuddle and give kisses. She appears to be house trained and leash trained. She will need vaccinations soon.
Zoe just arrived today at her foster home so more will coming on this adorable little girl soon.
