My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pen is a 6 year old gelding. He was one of 6 horses rescued last summer from a hoarder. He was in a dry lot with 2 other stallions, and had never been trained to halter. We named him Pen and the other stallion Pencil, to reflect their thin body conditions. Now Pen is gelded, halters, picks up his feet for the farrier. He stands about 14.3 HH and weighs about 900 lbs. We have started working him in the round pen in preparation for the saddle using Natural Horsemanship techniques. Pen really likes people and will make a great trail riding partner.
