My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thistle was rescued from a local kill shelter, and is currently with a wonderful foster family. We are thinking that she probably was left outside all of the time, without much love to be given or to give. With her foster family... she's learning that she CAN be loved and she CAN share her LOVE! She adores her foster brothers, canine and human, and she is learning that she LOVES to play ball, play in water, and how awesome cuddling is. Thistle is kennel trained, and prefers at times to go into her kennel when needing time to herself (who doesn't). Her confidence when she first went into her foster home was very low, but now? NOW she's blooming into the awesome, bright, wonderful dog she was destined to be!
Thistle is approx 4 years old, up to date on her shots, spayed and microchipped. She is also a special needs dog due to her having joint subluxation. It is best that she lives in a house with NO stairs. If you're interested in adopting Thistle, please fill out an adoption application by clicking here.
