My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sully was born on April 7, 2015, weighs 55 pounds and has the most beautiful light green eyes. His mom is a Boxer mix and daddy is an 80 pound Chocolate Lab/Hound mix. Sully will likely be 70 or more pounds when fully grown. He is fully vetted, house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, good with dogs, cats and children, an all-around pleasant boy. Because he is still a puppy, he tends to play a little too rough for small dogs.
When we got Sully, he had a skull fracture with 3 open, infected wounds, on his head. He had surgery to remove bone fragments and smooth down the jagged edge of skull but the end result is that he is missing the section of skull that is part of his forehead, between his eyes, the part that normally helps to support the eye sockets. The missing forehead section causes him to have a perpetually 'worried' expression as there is more skin than bone. We consider Sully to be special needs in that he cannot sustain a blow to his head without, possibly, serious injury or death. His safety will be one of the primary considerations of his adoption. Our adoption fee is $150 and we have an application process to insure that he is a good fit for your family. Please let us know if you'd like to meet this gentle boy!
