My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lace is doing SO well in her foster home!

Her foster mom tells us that she is relaxing and just enjoying life :)

Lace has fit in quickly with her foster family.

It appears that our girl Lace is already house trained! She already knows "sit" and is working on giving paw. She is polite and a great family member. She has no need to be crated.

Just about Lace's favorite thing is playing in the snow in the back yard with Maddie and Casey, her canine foster siblings - she gets along well with both of them.

Her foster mom says that Lace is a "sweet, gentle, special girl". <3

Lace is a gorgeous Shepherd mix, about 5 years old. She hasn't yet been cat tested but we suspect she may be fine with them. We believe she will also be fine with children. At this point we're saying 7 years old or older until she can be tested with smaller children.

A meet and greet is always part of the placement process, to make sure the dog and the family are a good match for each other.

We will be scheduling Lace for her spay surgery. After she has it and recovers from it, she will be ready to move on to a wonderful forever home.

She will be a terrific new family member!
