Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Owen is currently being fostered in Houston. He is available for out-of-state adoption to the perfect forever family! Milo’s adoption fee is $450, which covers his transport, kennel, and vet care appropriate to his age. He is not old enough to be neutered, so his new family will sign a neuter contract and will be responsible for the cost of his neuter once the vet says he is old enough.**
We got an urgent plea from a local high kill shelter asking for help for a beautiful momma and her six precious babies. Unfortunately, their previous owner did not want to keep the little family, so they were taken to the shelter to be euthanized. The shelter staff could not bear the thought of not trying to save them, so they asked if we could get the family to safety. Our amazing foster families opened their homes and hearts to them and we were able to save them.
Owen is a sweet little boy who is currently about 8 weeks old. He is around 10 pounds and full of puppy spunk and love. Owen is currently being fostered in a home with a big dog playmate where he is learning how to be a good boy. His foster reports that he is very smart, doing well with his potty training, and just loves to chase his foster brother or take a quick nap in the warm sun. While he is making progress, he is still 100% puppy and therefore not potty trained nor really good at anything!
We believe the pups are Black Mouth Cur / Shepherd mixes based on the coloring of all of the pups in the litter – whatever they are, they are ADORABLE! We think they will likely be mid-sized adults, our estimates are that they are going to be in the mid 50 pound range.
Owen will be available to fly home to his forever family after February 20th when he has his second round of vaccinations. His adoptive family will need to have his third round of puppy booster vaccinations completed three weeks after that on March 12th. His family will also be responsible for covering the costs of his neuter and rabies once his vet determines he is ready for the big snip. His adoptive family will sign a contract agreeing to having him neutered once he is ready.
The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application which can be found on our website www.reggiesfriends.org. If you hover over the “adoptables” tab, the application will appear for you. Our team processes applications within 5 business days of receipt and we can usually have adoptions finalized within 7-10 days. Adopters should be in a position to pay the adoption fee and take possession of the dog within 14 days of application.
If you have questions about Charlie, please email us at adoptions@reggiesfriends.org.
