Here's what the humans have to say about me:
An adoption application on GUNNER can be found at the following link: http://wp.me/P73YMd-1h
Please email the completed application to weatherley.woofriver@gmail.com
Please submit an application AND do NOT also contact the shelter. You will be contacting both the adoption coordinator and the marketing director, who do not see each other's emails. This causes confusion.
GUNNER is the perfect dog for those who want the fun youthfulness of a puppy, but want to skip a lot of the work that comes with a baby puppy. GUNNER is 5-6 months old and has been socialized to the hilt! He lives in a foster home with children and 5 large breed dogs (3 greyhounds, a rottie, and an anatolian shepherd). His foster home also has horses, so he is comfortable around them. He hasn't met any kitty cats while part of the Woof River family. GUNNER goes to doggie daycare 2 days a week while his foster mom is at work. His foster mom is very dog knowledgeable so his forever family gets the bonus of a pup who has gotten lots of work on manners. He adores car rides and is a fabulous passenger. He will willingly snuggle with anyone who will let him. GUNNER will never run out of kisses and affection for his lucky forever family!
GUNNER is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
His $450 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and transport to the New England area.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
