Meet Boots! This handsome boy is a 1.5 year old Shepherd mix that was saved from Rowan County Animal Control just minutes before he was set to be euthanized. It's hard to believe this sweet boy almost didn't make it out alive. Boots is a little shy but doesn't take too long to warm up and is friendly with both people and other dogs. He hasn't been tested with cats but we suspect he would be okay. In addition to his great disposition, Boots is also crate trained and housebroken and is even learning a few new tricks.
