Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! I’m Apollo (A004159) and I’m a great, goofy guy. I know basic commands and I like treats. I love to be pet. I really like to lean against people. I like adventures and going to new places.
Apollo was adopted but returned because he did not get along with the other dog in the house. Here’s what the adopters had to say about him:
My Gentle Giant Apollo
I have a loving heart. I am smart, kind, obedient, and loyal. Even though I am a big guy, I am quite mellow in the house. I understand when you tell me to sit, down, stay, shake and no. I love when you pet me behind the ears and rub my belly. I am potty trained. I can tell you when I have to go potty too, so watch when I go to the door. When you take me outside on my leash (which I love) I will go potty especially if you say “Go Potty”, I know what that means. I love food so I have a special bowl that helps me not eat so fast. When you eat I know to lay down and not to beg. I like sleeping in a crate with a blanket and a toy. During the day I stay in the crate while you are at work. I don’t have accidents either in my crate. I do like being the only dog in the house and if you can do that for me, then I will be yours forever.
I’m a 1 year old, male, white and red, Great Dane and Pit Bull Terrier mix. *Please do not call the shelter if you are interested in adopting. You must come into the shelter to meet the cat/dog. All dog adoptions require an application.
PLEASE NOTE: NOT ALL ANIMALS ARE ON THE WEBSITE. IF YOU ARE MISSING YOUR PET, PLEASE COME THE SHELTER TO SEE IF YOUR PET IS HERE.
