My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cupid was picked up as a stray in Cleveland, OH and spent a few months at Animal Control; Cupid really struggled in the general kennel population, but once he was moved to the medical ward, he excelled and it was also discovered that he is deaf.

He was sent to a foster home, unfortunately he was having issues adjusting, as the communication barrier was very frustrating for him. He was moved to CDR Rehabilitation Center where he has been doing exceedingly well! He is catching on quickly to structured training and routine and will soon be ready for a home of his very own.

His ideal family will be experienced with deaf dogs (or willing to learn), have strong leadership skills, and a fenced-in yard. He is a very active boy and he LOVES to play fetch! He would love someone to go hiking with, play ball with, and continue his training with.

Cupid will need a home with NO cats or horses and would do best with no other dogs; although a meet could be done with a calmer tolerant dog to test compatibility.
