**Bella Blue is currently being fostered in Houston. Se is available for out-of-state adoption to the perfect forever family! Bella's adoption fee is $500, which covers her transport, kennel, and of course, she is fully vetted.**
Our most stunning Bella Blue came to us as so many of our sweet dogs do, from the streets of Houston. Bella made the right decision one day, and ran out in front of a car driven by one of our rescue’s volunteers. Knowing the neighborhood she was in was not safe for a sweet girl all on her own, she scooped her up and whisked her to safety!
Bella Blue is a roughly 1 year old Staffordshire mix, she is around 53 pounds and very healthy. She is a short, stalky girl who is absolutely stunning in person. She is a very relaxed girl around people and wants nothing more than just to lay by your feet or get a good ear scratch. She is not demanding of attention, but very open to affection! She is very gentle and we think she would make a good family companion and would be great with children. She will nicely take a treat from your hand and loves to come up to her people and give a warm hug.
Bella Blue’s has had positive interaction with other dogs and really loves to play. We believe that she would make a great addition to a family who already has a similar sized dog or as an only dog. We think that her attention to cats is a bit too intense to safely place her in a home with cats.
Bella’s ideal family would be dedicated to giving her plenty of exercise to help keep her strong and active. She would make a good walking and outdoor adventure partner!
Bella Blue is fully vetted (spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped) and is heartworm negative. She is ready to say goodbye to Houston and hello to her forever life!
The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application which can be found on our website www.reggiesfriends.org. If you hover over the “adoptables” tab, the application will appear for you. Our team processes applications within 3 business days of receipt and we can usually have adoptions finalized within 7-10 days. Adopters should be in a position to pay the adoption fee and take possession of the dog within 14 days of application.
