My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elroy is a 3 year old red piebald smooth male dachshund. He has a sweet, gentle personality and loves to play with toys. Elroy was rescued by a Good Samaritan who realized that the dog was in need of help. Fortunately we had space and were able to accept this loving little dog.

Elroy has some vet work that must be completed over the next couple of months, and he needs to gain a little weight, so we anticipate that Elroy will be ready for a new home around September 1st. In the meantime, he is being cared for lovingly in his foster home.

Elroy gets a long well with the other dachshunds in his foster home and is quite well mannered. He never cries or barks when he's in his crate, and he sleeps well through the night. He is grateful for love and attention.
