My story

**Andy is currently being fostered in Houston. He is available for out-of-state adoption to the perfect forever family! Andy’s adoption fee is $500, which covers his transport, kennel, and of course, he is fully vetted.**

Andy is roughly 2 years and 55 pounds.

Andy is a super handsome scruffy little man that found his way to a local shelter as so many of our dogs do, as a stray in a city of thousands of stray dogs. Andy is one of the many great dogs that we are helping the shelter network for adoption in order to open more foster space for current shelter dogs.

Andy is great with other dogs and is a super smart character. He has been through the shelter’s Dog Ambassador Program where he works weekly with volunteers who have trained him in all of his basic manners. He has the best focus of all the dogs you have ever met before! He'll meet your eyes and wait patiently for his reward (a.k.a. yummy treat). He enjoys chasing tennis balls, knows how to sit and is working on ‘down’. He is a patient and well behaved guy.

Andy has been fully vetted (neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped) and is ready to leave Houston for his forever life!

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application which can be found on our website www.reggiesfriends.org. If you hover over the “adoptables” tab, the application will appear for you. Our team processes applications within 3 business days of receipt and we can usually have adoptions finalized within 7-10 days. Adopters should be in a position to pay the adoption fee and take possession of the dog within 14 days of application.
