My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FONZIE IN COLUMBUS, OHIO HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!!!

Fonzie is a sweet 12.5 lb., 6-8 yr. old Griff mix that was on the list for euthanasia at a kill shelter. Poor Fonzie came into rescue a yucky mess, severely matted, full of worms, sneezing, and coughing. He was found as a stray, so not much is known about this sweet boy. What we do know is that he certainly was someones pet at some point.. He has a wonderful, fun, sweet personality, loves his people, is very loving, good with other dogs, house trained, and ready for a new home.

Fonzie Favorites: Hanging on the couch, walks in nice weather, and his crate.

Fonzie Dislikes: Frequent car rides (he gets very nervous in the car), walks in cold weather, and evil nail clippers.

Fonzie is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and micro chipped. Fonzie does have a slight heart murmur, which does not require medication at this time.

Fonzie is being fostered in in a private home in Columbus, OH.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
