Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucky is a playful, energetic and eager to please ball of love. He has no clue how big he is though., He is good with other dogs, big and small. Loves to play outdoors but prefers to do so with a playmate, either human or dog. He is strong and walks best on a harness but may be an excellent candidate for a Gentle Leader. He is kennel trained but prefers to sleep with his people. He is house trained but won't necessarily let you know that he needs to go outside (aside from pacing anxiously of course but if you take this as the cue you need to let him out all is well). Like any dog he loves treats, pats on the head, snuggling next to you on the couch and being close to her person period. His new family needs to be familiar with the unfortunate stigma attached to his breed and be committed to doing their part to advocated for this breed - meaning a strong commitment to proper socialization (he'd do great at a dog park), regular exercise and proper containment (fenced yard, outside the yard on a leash only) and of course training. His manners already include sitting and shaking. He knows: sit, out, outside, down, no, up and treat. Even though he comes with a kennel he probably doesn't need it if his new family is committed to proper exercise daily. Overall he listens very well and would make an excellent addition to almost any home that can provide him with a safe, forever home. We will not consider families with a resident dog that is aggressive toward other dogs, male or female.
