Fruitloop is an adorable 8 year-old jenday conure who needs a lot of foraging opportunities and cardboard chew toys to keep her busy and distract her from plucking her feathers. She loves spending time on her playpen and taking a dip in her birdbath. When she is ready to have her head scratched, she will cock her head and put one claw over her beak as if to say, “Go ahead! I won’t nip you!” Fuitloop knows step-up and responds to her name and to a whistle. She has learned to be gentle with people she trusts and does better when she is approached slowly. She is on a healthy diet of Roudybush pellets and daily fresh fruit. Occasional treats of Avicake will certainly make you her new best friend!
