Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Fred is a beautiful, possibly full blooded black lab we rescued from a high kill shelter. When rescued, Fred struggled to walk, was extremely overweight, and was pretty much a hot mess. He has now slimmed down, walks without too much problems-appears he has an old rear leg injury that possibly healed wrong. He's been on pain/arthritic supplements and has befitted from this. Fred will arrive to us in Ohio the first week of January, where we will begin his treatment for heart worm via slow kill method. Should he be adopted before completing treatment, his meds for this will accompany him. We are approximating his age between 5-7 years old. There is a very small adopt fee for free, to help us offset the costs of all his medical issues. His forever home must be, and must always remain as, an indoor home only. Adoption application, vet ref, personal/professional ref, as well as a home check, are all requirements to adopt from us.
