My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Homer is a 5 year old boxer mix who survived a horrific cruelty case. The other dog starved to death in his crate but Homer was able to escape his crate and drink water from the pipes that had froze inside the house. Home is now healthy and ready to find a caring new home. He does become afraid and will snap when he is approached by strangers. We believe that he would be most successful in a home with and experienced dog owner. Training may help Homer over come some of his fears.

We all love Homer and are so happy that we could help save him! We know that an adopter will fall in love with him too!

$175.00 adoption donation ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough) , microchipped and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites if needed. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as surgeries and dentals.
