My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pinky was rescued from an over-crowded LA shelter. She came in with a nasty wound to her belly and was treated once we moved her up to Oregon. She also had some mammary tumors removed and a good dental cleaning.

She's feeling frisky and is ready to go! We're not sure what kind of mix she is, but she has the cutest curly tail, maybe from a Pug, Basenji, or Shiba Inu? Her Vets think she's around 7-8 yrs old. She LOVES to be with her person and wants to go on all your walks and car rides. Pinky is a great snuggler and a quiet girl as long as you take her on little adventures. We have not seen the need to crate her.
In her current living situation she hangs out with other dogs and a mellow cat, and that seems to be fine with her. She would probably do best in a home without small children, or calm, respectful older kids.

Since she's had some tumors we recommend a high-quality diet of real foods (The Honest Kitchen, raw, home-cooked), no fillers, sugars, preservatives, etc. We'd be happy to recommend nutritional food options!
