My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie is a newcomer to our program and we have not had a chance to assess him yet but his owner had the following to say about him:

“We rescued Charlie from a very large family with 5 other dogs in September of 2013, he was a little over a year. We were told Charlie had a clean bill of health but had no proof. Charlie is not fixed. He is full of energy, and wants lots of love. He has not been left alone all day until two months ago. He does not like to be left alone all day. He does well with small dogs, not other large male dogs. He loves car rides, walks, and playing. He has to have his own bed, or he will make your furniture his bed. He gives hugs and knows basic commands, eat, out, sit, shake, lay, shake, but can also open a sliding glass door. He does not try to jump our 4ft fence, he will stay in the yard when loose. He needs a home where he is the center of attention and someone is with him. He eats regular Purina dog chow and is house broken.”

Charlie will soon be neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and temperament tested. He will be available to a home shortly after that.
