My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dixie is approx 12 weeks old and 5 pounds. She was found in a parking lot and landed at the county shelter but was deemed " too young" to stay there. Rescue was requested and our #1 foster took her in, crate trained her and is working on good puppy manners and potty training too! If you are looking for a vivacious, energetic, new best friend w/four legs, please call (916) 303-0334 and we will send you a dog adoption application and arrange for a meet and greet at Shelter Hope. PLEASE NOTE: all animals in our program are in private party foster homes! While our adoption/advocacy center is typically open Th-Sun. Noon to 6 p.m. that is not always the case.
