Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Elliot was rescued with the help of the Lorain Police and the infamous Officer “Doc” Broz. He was living in an abandoned house with his large canine friend (who was also rescued). We know he definitely gets along with dogs because he was just “chilling” with the big dog when we arrived.
Elliot was covered in wounds and open sores when rescued. A volunteer took him to the vet the same day for treatment. The vet suspects he may have been bitten by another animal and he was treated with antibiotics for his wounds. Luckily, with all of these wounds, he tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. At the time of his rescue he only weighed 7 pounds and was a bundle of bones. He was so hungry that at the clinic that he started chewing on the dog biscuits in the exam room. Believe it or not, he is one of the friendliest cats RCAF has available! He was purring and kneading for the vet during his exam and blood draw. The staff fell in love with him. He is a total trooper, lap cat, and lover of all!
The vet estimated his birth in early 2014.
