My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Pearl, and I was a cruelty and neglect confiscation just before Christmas 2006. The adoption coordinator at the San Antonio pound said I was much too sweet to be euthanized, so she sent me to my foster home where I gave birth less than a day later -- talk about perfect timing!  Now my pups are long gone and I'm still waiting for my forever home :(

My estimated birthday is Jun 05 and I weigh about 55 lbs. 

I was in very poor condition when I first came in, to include being heartworm positive, but I've been treated for the heartworms and am in great shape now.

Because I''m definitely a 'power breed', special adoption requirements will apply. Please check them out at our website BEFORE contacting my foster mom about adopting me.  Oh, and I do like to hog the covers and pillows in bed :)
