Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maddie is a 4-5 month old beautiful longhair kitten with quite the extraordinary disability. You see, Maddie suffered some sort of crushing injury to her spine when she was about 3 weeks old. This has prevented her from using her back legs but doesn't stop her from getting where she wants to go! Maddie is a spunky, playful, loving little girl who enjoys playing with dogs and cats alike. Climbing onto the couch and into the cat tree are among Maddie's finer moments, proving that she refuses to allow her disability to define her. She is very well behaved for her daily baths and grooming sessions, which are a requirement as she isn't able to use a litter box and has little to no control over her excretory functions. Her adoptive family would need to learn how to help Maddie express her bladder (your vet can show you this quite easily, and she is used to this in foster care) and perhaps wear diapers to help keep her clean. She is currently pretty small for diapers and wriggles out of even the tiniest of sizes, but she is very patient during the putting-on and taking-off process. She has a very loud motor-like purr and gets very excited to see her people. She will require a patient and understanding home but I promise -- you won't regret adopting Maddie!
