My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

6-year-old neutered Pointer mix

Duke is a very sweet and loving, not to mention, great looking young man.  He is a good size (48lbs) 6-year-old neutered Pointer mix that has the most exceptional disposition of any dog we have ever seen.  After being in a home for 4 years, his family moved and could no longer keep him. We agreed to help them find a new home/family for Duke.  One where he would be loved and provided with the much needed attention and exercise a dog of his breed needs.  He adores all people big and small as well as other canines.  Duke has completed a 2 week basic training program given by K-9 University in Garland.  K-9 University trains its dogs in both Basic and Advanced Obedience. His ability to receive additional training will follow him to his new family.  Duke is current with his shots, wormed, micro chipped, and on heart worm prevention.  He appears to be house trained, doesn’t mind being in a crate, walks great on a leash, and enjoys riding in the car.  He would also make a perfect running companion, if so desired.  If you would like to spend some quality time getting to know this wonderful pup better, please call 469-698-8898 to make arrangements.  A re-homing fee is being asked and will be used to help other rescue animals.
