Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Elliott is currently being fostered in Houston. He is available for out-of-state adoption to the perfect family. Nemo’s adoption fee is $500, which covers his transport home. His adoption will be a distance-adoption, so unfortunately meeting Elliott prior to adoption will not be possible.**
Elliott was found by a Reggie’s Friends volunteer just running down a country road all by his lonesome. After trying in vain to find out where he came from, they knew they couldn’t leave this sweet boy out in the world to fend for himself, so to the rescue he came!
Elliott is an approximately year old cattle dog / heeler mix and he is just as sweet as they possibly come. He loves to play and snuggle and then play a bit more. Elliott still has a lot of puppy energy, so his ideal family will be committed to continuing to work on his training and helping him become an even more amazing dog! He would make a great hiking, running, or biking companion. He also really loves to swim and will plow off into any pool of water for a quick lap!
Elliott has been very well socialized with dogs both small and large and would make the perfect companion for a family that already has a dog or would also be great as a bachelor dog. Elliott is currently around 40 pounds and we do not anticipate him growing much larger. He is the perfect sized dog for an apartment or condo as long as his family is committed to giving him proper daily exercise. Elliott will love trips to parks and would make a great dog park dog as well.
Elliott is fully vetted (vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped) and healthy. He is ready to leave rescue and start his forever life!
