Auni was found wandering a busy strip mall parking lot where she had been dumped by her previous owners. She had been eating scraps from under cars for two weeks when one of our friends found her and brought her in. Little did we know she was very pregnant and had 2 healthy puppies soon after. Both pups have since been weaned and are looking for homes of their own!
Auni is a sweet natured girl who is just looking for someone to be her new best friend. She loves her people, and will follow them just about anywhere. She is extremely gentle in her affection, and will happily sit at your feet, staring up at you just waiting to get an ear scratch, a belly rub, or any kind of touch she can receive. She is loyal to a fault, and we never have to worry about taking her anywhere. She loves literally everyone she meets, and will greet them with a big happy retriever smile.
She is especially bright, so teaching her where to go and what to do is easy and she makes it fun because she loves her humans so much. She loves food, so in case your having a moment of doubt, this will surely turn it around. Auni is great with kids, and is sweet, and gentle when interacting with them. Having been a mother herself, you can see she really has the knack for children, especially when they are giving her all types of lovin!
She gets along great with other dogs, and makes friends easily. Sometimes she is down to play and is looking for someone to be a goober with and then there are times where she simply wants a walking buddy and nothing more, but either way she is easy to adjust to any dog after just spending a little time. She has never had any other issues with other dogs that we know about.
Auni is extremely well behaved for a dog taken off the streets. She is housebroken, crate trained, leash trained, free leash and recall trained, and knows most of her basics like sit, wait, stay, etc. She is a retriever in every aspect of the word and we have no doubt she will make an AMAZING companion for anyone looking! Auni is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped.
