My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Bartholomew is currently being fostered in HOUSTON. He is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. His adoption fee is $500, which covers his flight to his new family, a travel kennel, and he is fully vetted.**

We met Bartholomew at our local pound when he was in pretty bad shape. He had mange, a non-contagious skin condition, so badly that he was without any hair. We could see his beauty despite that and knew with some care he would be perfect in a very short time.

This adorable guy is about a year old and weighs 15 pounds and is full grown. We think he is a dachshund / corgi mix. He runs like the wind and loves to play with other dogs, big and small. Some of the pictures we have posted are of him before his hair grew back in. These are to show how good he is with his best buddy Brunson regardless of size. His hair has all grown in now and he is healthy and fully vetted and ready to go to his forever home!

Bartholomew is crate trained and leash trained. He lives with an 8 year old boy and does great with kids. He loves everyone he meets! He loves to hang out on a dog bed with his doggie friends or run around the yard for hours playing. He also loves to lay with his humans and get snuggles and pets.

Bartholomew is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and doing very well in his foster home. He is ready to find his family to complete his transformation.
