My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Pea has the perfect name. She is sweet as can be to those she meets slowly and trusts. She is pretty good with women and kids buts may need some time to warm up to men in general. We think she will be ok with anyone that meets her appropriately and takes their time with her. She looks for her favorite care takers and lights up when she sees them. She has lots of love to give. We are thinking she will be okay with older kids that also go slow with her. She is good with other dogs and generally a lot of fund to be around.
Alsip To The Rescue (ATTR) strives as a rescue to make sure that when our adopters take home their new rescue they feel they have the support and access to all resources which ATTR can provide. If you want to learn how you can set your new rescue up to succeed and blend in with your family come to our Meet The Trainer sessions each weekend. We will give you tips on what to do when you first bring home a new rescue. Saturday at Noon in St John and Sunday at Noon in Frankfort are free Meet The Trainer sessions with more free sessions to be added during the week soon.
