My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucas is one handsome black long haired male cat. He has a lot of gray in him which gives him an ombre look! Lucas was born in rescue in 2013 and has watched his siblings and friends come and get adopted while he stayed here. He is now a little hesitant on new people but will come out of his shell given a bit of time. Once he is out of his shell, he becomes the most loving cat ever.

Lucas will roll around and purr like crazy for petting by people he trusts. He is a happy drooler, too, which is super cute! It isn't a waterfall, but he does drool when extremely happy. It may take him a bit of time to get to know a new environment as he is only used to the rescue. He prefers a home WITH other cats! He loves every cat, even if they hiss and growl at him. He gets anxiety when there is no human or other cat around.

Lucas is almost three now but still loves to play. He prefers toys that dangle, but will play with others if there are no dangles. He still thinks he is a kitten in some senses, but is out of the destructive kitten stage. He would make a perfect addition to nearly any household. We state no small children because of the high energy, but if your children know not to pester a cat, we will consider it.
