Meet Chinook! A beautiful young female red heeler who wants someone to play with. And boy does she play! Frisbees, balls, she loves them all and she can play fetch with the best of them! Chinook is very athletic and would make a great hiking buddy or agility dog. She's also very affectionate and sweet and wants to climb in your lap for cuddles. Short on time for training? No problem! Chinook has been trained by female inmates in the Utah Department of Corrections for 3 months. Using positive reinforcement and clicker training, she is learning basic obedience including sit, down, crate training, and socialization as well as a few tricks! If you're looking for a smart, sweet, athletic dog to call your best friend, Chinook is the dog for you! We are now accepting applications to help Chinook find her forever home.
