Hoho is a sweet little Dachshund in an unusual black color. He's about 5 years old and around 13 pounds. Hoho has lived with others dogs and children, though we prefer older or very calm children for small dogs.
Hoho is quite low key. He came into the rescue recently so we're just getting to know him. He was an owner surrender. Hoho's favorite thing to do is sleep next to your on the couch or on your lap. He loves wearing sweaters and gets cold easily. He loves to snuggle in blankets.
Hoho is neutered, just had a dental in which 12 teeth we pulled, and is fully vetted and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $300. Adoption fees from popular dogs like Hoho help us help seniors and special medical needs dogs that cost more to save.

Happy Tails Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based rescue based in Munster, Indiana. We have no shelter, all of our animals are cared for in loving foster homes until their forever home match is found. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption, including distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccines, a heartworm test, fecal test, microchip, and are spayed/neutered. Adoption fees range from $150-$350. If you're interested in meeting one of our animals please fill out an application first. If approved we will then arrange a meet and greet. Happy Tails does not do same day adoptions because we do a short home visit to make sure our animals are being placed in safe environments.
